Our mission is to extend our financial resources, time and core values/principles to improve communities. We strive to collaborate with non-profit organizations that provide opportunities to inspire and empower children and young adults. Our employees demonstrate their personal commitment by volunteering time and resources into organizations that we believe will help children and young adults realize their potential and make an impact to future generations.

Thanksgiving Food Giveaway – NOV 2022

November 2022- A member of STAG volunteered at a Thanksgiving Food Giveaway in Springfield, Massachusetts and incorporated STAG by distributing over 30 Stop and Shop gift cards; all gift cards were donated by STAG employees. The member of STAG also donated over 50 hot meals and 60 bags of groceries, accumulated over time. In the words of the generous employee, “It was nice to put a smile on someone’s face and ensure that they had the means to prepare a meal for Thanksgiving.”

LUCY’S LOVE BUS PRESENT WRAPPING AND YOGA – NOV 2022

November 2022- Members of STAG worked with Lucy’s Love Bus (LLB), an organization that helps children with cancer gain access to integrative therapies, to wrap over 50 presents as well as engage in a yoga and meditation session. The presents were donations LLB has collected for their participating children who will receive the presents during the holiday season. After wrapping the presents, members of STAG took inventory of each gift to ensure each child will get a gift that is relevant to their age and preference.

FILL-A-TRUCK – OCT 2022

October 2022- STAG participated in a collection drive gathering high-need clothing and baby items to support the families that participate in the Room to Grow program. Common donations included everyday clothes for ages 3 months to 5 years, including toys, books, hats, bibs, etc. High-need items included pajamas, strollers, shoes size 7 & up, and fall/winter clothing. The STAG team assisted in sorting these donations, scanning them for rips or stains, and loading bags onto the truck as they were filled.

DONORSCHOOSE NATIONAL CAMPAIGN – SEPT 2022

September 2022– STAG completed a $100K campaign in a two-pronged approach: 1) Employees were given a specific dollar amount to donate to equity-focused school projects in a state with STAG property; 2) Flash fund campaign in which STAG funded the most urgent, equity focused school projects in its biggest employee base markets (Boston, Dallas, and Chicago). 73 STAG employees played a part in allocating the donations for the campaign and $100,000 in total were donated.

DIGNITY MATTERS – AUG 2022

August 2022– members of our Women’s Forum were thrilled to share their time and energy at Dignity Matters, Inc.’s warehouse. Our crew helped sort, package, and label hundreds of feminine products, which will be supplied to women and girls who are homeless or disadvantaged in Massachusetts. Through supplying these necessities, Dignity Matters helps women and girls stay healthy, regain self-confidence, and live with basic dignity.

IMPACT DAY CITYSPROUTS GARDEN CLASSROOM BUILD – AUG 2022

August 2022- STAG employees volunteered for CitySprouts to build garden classrooms for 4 Boston schools in the Roxbury area. The work included building new garden beds, planters, weeding the area, picking up trash, and planting new seeds. Donations were raised to support the facilitation of the event, including the materials needed to build new gardens and refurbish old ones. Donations will also go directly to CitySprouts for their future operations.

CITY SPROUTS DIG IT FUNDRAISER – APR 2022

April 2022– STAG employees attended CitySprouts annual DigIt Gala to support their mission to educate inner city children about natural sciences by building garden classrooms at Boston Public Schools. STAG employees had the opportunity to mingle with Boston public activists, fundraisers, and other corporate partners while raising money for a good cause.

BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS CASINO NIGHT FUNDRAISER – APR 2022

April 2022 – STAG Industrial partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts as “Casino Sponsor” for the organization’s annual Casino Night fundraiser in Boston, MA. Over $100,000 was raised at the event to support children (“littles”) across eastern Massachusetts, resulting in the most successful Casino Night since its inception.
